Alright, just saw this movie. Really, really good. Overall, it's a 7/10. Most of it is just good, but the last 20 minutes absolutely blew me away and makes it worth it. Please go see this movie.

I feel it. Living in San Francisco is hard, especially as a minority. I've been having a difficult time assimilating into this city, and this movie does a fantastic job of highlighting some of the cultural barriers that I amongst others have faced during our stay. I'm excited to see this film. It's inspiring.

The trailer is way better than the actual movie.

Horrible movie. All I got from it was the obnoxious use of the N word with no substance. Really reminds you of a Spike Lee movie. Good intent with no value.

I'm a native San Franciscan. I got a heart full out of this movie. It hit a homer with me...every single nuance I breathed in and cogitated. Even the grim truth behind what went down at Hunter's Point (dirty politicians people just LOVE because they don't know the truth about the water and the shipyards and the toxic dumping ...) I was spellbound, mesmerized, hurt, touched, healed, ripped open by every scene that just spoke the truth and kept on telling it. Shame too on the filthy corporations that are stealing the magic from The City. Sometimes, i think of the next big one. Just to be rid of the greed and the noise and the filthy congestion, the homeless who've been kicked from their affordable spaces to make room for off shore tech workers who make the big bucks.

The casting was superb. Like seeing old friends again. Thank you for this Masterpiece that every true heart San Franciscan should see before it ALL disappears.

There use to be 33% black population in San Francisco in the 70s and it was a violent crime ridden hellhole , now gentrification has reduced it to maybe 1% blacks .And much nicer even tho they have a massive homeless population .

After seeing trailer, the title makes sense.
Same struggles with NYC. Rent used to be cheap and commodities affordable. Now just having lunch costs $15 dollars, If not more. Rents are skyhigh even here. If you're low-income, you really cannot survive on your own. Owning a house is probably impossible (some sale in the millions). It's the city of the rich and celebrities.

I hear San Francisco is even worse.

But it's your ridiculous mentality that allows gentrification to reign free in these big cities.

Not everyone is lucky enough to come from a wealthy, middle-class family. And if you think paying 15 dollars for a bowl of food is acceptable, then you've never struggled financially before.
And that's okay. But don't try to make your lavish lifestyle the norm, because not everyone is as lucky as you are
